To download any of our font packages from our site, click either the Windows or Macintosh button located directly under each sample image.
How do I extract the files from the Zip archive on my PC?
To extract the files from a Zip archive you first need to download the shareware application, WinZip, which can be downloaded at http://www.winzip.com.
Once you have installed WinZip, you will be able to extract the files from the Zip archive and install the font package on your PC.
How do I extract the files from the Sit archive on my Mac?
To extract the files from a Sit archive you first need to download Aladdin Stuffit Expander 5.5 or higher, older versions of Stuffit Expander will not work. You can download the latest version of Stuffit Expander for free at http://www.aladdinsys.com.
Once you have installed Aladdin Stuffit Expander, drag the Sit archive over the Stuffit Expander icon on you desktop to extract the files. Now you will be able to install the font package on your Mac.

In order to install our font packages on your PC, you must first extract the files from the Zip archive that you downloaded.
After you have extracted the files from the Zip archive, place the font(s) in your c:\windows\fonts\ directory for Windows 95/98/ME or in your c:\winnt\fonts\ directory for Windows NT/2000. The font(s) will automatically be installed on your PC.

After you have extracted the files from the Sit archive, quit all open applications and drag the font suitcase(s) to your System Folder. You will then be asked if you'd like the fonts to be placed into your fonts folder; click OK. The font(s) will automatically be installed on your Mac.
All of your font packages are TrueType, is there any way for me to get them in OpenType?
Unlike the TrueType fonts, our OpenType fonts are not free. To purchase any of our fonts in OpenType you can purchase a commercial license which includes the fonts in both TrueType and OpenType.
I own a freeware font archive site, may I distribute your font packages on my site?
Yes, as long as the fonts are distributed with the original copyright and trademark information, include our Freeware End User License Agreement (EULA), and are provided as a free download only.
You may not charge a fee to distribute any of our fonts without the written consent of ShyFoundry.com. Currently, the only website authorized to distribute our freeware fonts for a fee is Ultimate Font Download.
What fonts was used for ShyFoundry's logo?
We used SF Piezolectric which you can downloaded directly from our site for free!
